Woods CDC provides children with a safe, comfortable learning environment and social climate to help them grow intellectually, socially, emotionally, spiritually, and physically in a manner appropriate to their age and stage of development. Parents know their children best and are their best advocates. They are most successful when there is a strong home to school connection. Woods CDC provides many opportunities for families to be involved in their child’s educational process. Children of all faiths are welcome and their traditions are acknowledged in our classrooms. Children attend chapel where Christian beliefs, stories, and traditions are introduced. All children regardless of needs or abilities have access to and participate in the same play experiences.
Woods CDC offers 2 programs; the name and age of each class refers to the children’s age as of September 1 of the academic year.
Additionally, Woods CDC offers week long summer camps for 3 and 4 year olds and a summer program for children who are attending Kindergarten in the fall.
