It is the mission of Woods Child Development Center to inspire excellence in learning and creativity, to build character, and to foster respect for others and the world around us by providing an engaging, developmentally appropriate program for children ages 2 to 4 in a nurturing, Christian environment.
NEED TO KNOW: WHAT TO BRING
Please be sure to refer to the list regarding what to bring to school. Be sure to check your child’s classroom schedule for special event days such as show and tell or other special theme days. Please do not send your child with toys from home unless indicated by the teachers.
Please be sure to bring the following LABELED items:
- A complete change of clothes, and be sure to update the clothing as the season and sizes change
- Diapers and wipes, if necessary, for children in the 2 Year Old Programs
- Diaper cream, if necessary, for children in the 2 Year Old Programs, along with appropriate signed permission slip
- A water bottle
- A pillow and a small stuffed animal, if desired, for children in the Full-Day Program
- Sunscreen and bug spray, if desired, along with appropriate signed permission form(s)
- Appropriate outerwear for the season, including hats/gloves/boots (in the winter months) /bathing suits/towels/water shoes (in the summer months)
Woods CDC has special event days (Halloween, Pajama Days, Show & Tell), and your child may be able to bring in a special item to share with the class. On any other calendar days, please do not allow your child to bring toys from home.
