It is the mission of Woods Child Development Center to inspire excellence in learning and creativity, to build character, and to foster respect for others and the world around us by providing an engaging, developmentally appropriate program for children ages 2 to 4 in a nurturing, Christian environment.
NEED TO KNOW: INCLEMENT WEATHER
Woods CDC does not follow the same schedule as Anne Arundel County Public Schools. Rather, we determine the conditions of the campus to determine whether or not we open or close. We will post this information on our website and Facebook page as well as send text notifications through the SMS system.
If Woods needs to close during the day for weather or other building-specific reasons (e.g., loss of water), we will follow the same protocol and post both on the website and notify parents via email and text.
Please be sure to keep your contact information up to date including the alternate pick-up information. In the event of a closure, children are expected to be picked up within 30 minutes.
