Art Night 2024
Woods Memorial Presbyterian Church features artists in their art gallery several times a year. This quarter, the children of Woods Child Development Center were chosen to be the featured artists. The children worked joyfully to create wonderful art designed around the theme of Seed How We Grow. All the children, aged 2 to 5, used many different mediums to create artwork to depict spring growth. Some children painted flowers while other children created artwork including rain, grass, and the sun. Some children even worked together to make group collages. Please visit the gallery upstairs to see this wonderful artwork.

Fall Pajama and Movie Night
Summer 5's Lemonade Stand
Over the summer, our Summer 5s children put together a weekly lemonade stand to help support the Cowden family, a local family who lost their house in a fire. The 5's made the stand, the lemonade, flyers, posters, and then sold the lemonade each week. Now, a few weeks later, Mom reports, "Our family is doing well, and our spirits are high thanks to all the love and support from our family, friends, and especially our community. We have experienced lots of blessings amid all the challenges. After a hectic summer, we are finally settled in a furnished rental house."
Woods CDC is blessed to be part of such a caring Severna Park Community.
